Dr. Andy Yew
Being certified by Ministry of Health as a qualified member having Letter of credential and privileging (LCP) in Aesthetic Practice, Dr Yew is a Consultant Physician who has also specialised in Regenerative Medicine.
Dr Yew graduated from University of Malaya. During his early year of his career, he had served various states and districts in Malaysia including Sarawak, Perak, Pahang, Melaka and Selangor. He had worked in the most rural place in Sarawak, Kapit where only can be assess by boat or helicopter. From there he had witness various weird diseases and the difficult medical conditions managed by limited medical resource. Thanks to these years of practice in various rural places, he has accumulated many valuable experiences and surgical skills. After finished serving the districts medical posting, he had been working in one of the renowned plastic surgery centre in Kuala Lumpur for more than 5 years. Over there, he had gained many facial aesthetic surgery skills set and knowledge from many different countries plastic surgeon, such as Korea, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Vietnam as well as Malaysia. In addition, He has special interest in oculoplastic surgery which made him working closely with one of the well-known oculoplastic surgeon professor in Malaysia. At the same time he also obtained his ophthalmology and surgical training under the UK royal college of ophthalmologist.
With more than 12 years of medical practice and his experiences in internal medicine field during his early year of career, he realised many chronic disease condition might not be solved solely by conventional medical or surgical methods. With his passion to relieve and solve some of the disturbing chronic medical conditions, he has further pursued his career in the field of Regenerative Medicine.
Dr Yew has special interest in using cellular therapy or the stem cells derived cytokines to treat various chronic degenerative disease such as glaucoma, diabetes, osteoarthritis, sexual dysfunction, sports injury, renal impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke etc.
Besides that, as a certified Aesthetic Practitioner, he has his own unique method and protocol in facial medical treatment, such as acne scar removal, facial rejuvenation, non-surgical face-lifting, facial contouring, face reshaping and so on which not only reduce the recovery time but also more effective and long-lasting. In conclusion, Dr Yew is not only a passion doctor excel in medical and surgical but he is also a caring doctor wiling listen to the patient’s or client’s needs to customized an optimal medical treatment in the best interest of the patients.
